Two Sites Unite: May Preview

With the Month of May slowly creeping towards us and excitement starting to build for the 105th Running of the Indianapolis 500, it was time for my good friend George Phillips of Oilpressure.com and I to sit down again for another episode of Two Sites Unite. For those who haven’t seen this little thing we do, Two Sites Unite is just George and me sitting down over Skype to discuss whatever IndyCar-related topics we feel like discussing at the time. It’s completely unrehearsed (which I’m sure won’t shock anyone who has watched them) and completely unscripted.

Though we always swear we are going to keep the video to under thirty minutes, I’m for certain sure we have never actually done so. This week’s episode clocks in at a robust 39 minutes. But the conversation is lively and centers, as you would imagine, around the Indianapolis 500. We do touch briefly on the upcoming GMR Grand Prix and make predictions on if we think the May stranglehold that Will Power and Simon Pagenaud currently hold on that event will come to an end, and if so, by whom.

Other topics for discussion in this episode include news (more specifically, rumors) regarding INDYCAR’s television contract for 2022 and beyond, whether Team Penske has lost a step with The Captain no longer on the pit stand, and Simon Pagenaud’s future with Team Penske.

For those so inclined to give us a hit, please pour yourself a cup of a coffee (or another cold beverage if you care to join me) and enjoy two old bench racers discussing some IndyCar racing and the Indianapolis 500.
