Is this thing still on?? Oh, HI!! Welcome back to Fieldof33.com!! It’s been a little while. Needless to say, a lot of life has happened since I last took to these pages, both in my day to day life as well as with the NTT IndyCar Series. A fascinating 2021 IndyCar season wrapped up more than four months ago and a new champion was crowned. Now we are getting ready to kick start the 2022 season in less than a month on the Streets of St. Pete, Florida.

To get back into the swing of things, my good friend George Phillips of oilpressure.com and I sat down recently to record another of in our video series appropriately titled “Two Sites Unite.” As might be expected given the long span of time that has passed since we last recorded one of these unscripted video logs, it took us a little while to really settle into the groove and get to the business of IndyCar racing. Along the way, we briefly touched on last weekend’s Rolex 24 at Daytona and my disdain for two weeks between the NFL Conference Championships and the Super Bowl. Once we finally get to the point, we touch on many aspects of the upcoming 2022 season from Long Beach COVID restrictions to the future of Toronto’s IndyCar event, to Alexander Rossi’s future beyond 2022.
